I was born in London in 1955 and was educated through a traditional four-year apprenticeship with the sculptors Edwin Russell, Lorne McKean and Bernard Saunders.
After working as a sculptor for 20 years, I completed an Honours Degree in Sculpture at Central St Martin's School of Art and Design.
In 2003 I moved with my wife and children to Wales, where my studio and teaching space are situated in an 18th century house and barn.
I work in forged metal, stone and clay. I also draw in pen & ink, and charcoal.
